In a voice that is both gentle and very powerful, Robert Asha takes us on an inward journey that cuts through the chatter of modern life and delivers us back to the essential sweetness of being. With love and wisdom he embraces all that he is and the connectedness of all things and by sharing that he encourages us all to do the same. Every poem in this little gem of a book is richly illustrated with luminous original artworks that vibrate with energy and add a whole other dimension that goes straight to the heart.
A Path Unwound edition by Robert Asha Religion Spirituality eBooks
This small but wonderful collection of poems by Robert is littered with messages of truth that are applicable to all of us, whether earth-lover or a city-slicker ...or earth-loving city slicker. I was moved by the undercurrent of a call to pledge to the Mother that we walk upon, Mother Earth. His description of the earth holding the sea, almost as though within the palms of Her hands, gave me a little pang in my heart. Anyone would realise that the Shipibo tribes of the Amazon jungle, as with almost all the indigenous tribes of the world, live in harmony with the earth, a skill that most of human kind have lost to a huge degree. Therefore their teachings are paramount to the survival of our planet, and Robert's work with them to carry on the legacy, and his messages in the collection, is a gift to the Earth and humankind. As you can tell from the cover, Robert's artwork is quite primitive (for lack of a better word). I love it. There is something about his style that utterly draws me in. I'm not an art-connoisseur by any stretch, but I certainly enjoy the occasional art exhibition and could happily spend days exploring the Met. For me, his work is simple, fresh, and within the simplicity I notice elements that indicate there are more layers to explore than might initially meet the eye. I'm tempted to print some of them and get them framed for my home!
For journeyers with the Shipibo, this is a must have memento that you will engage with intimately. For every artist and poet, a worthy addition to your collection. For everyone else, some moments to ponder deeply.

A Path Unwound edition by Robert Asha Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
I loved this book of art and poetry. I found each poem and piece of art to be deeply compelling and full of great truths that many of us are beginning to remember. His journey inward brought forth this treasure- and I find his sharing of it to be very brave and loving. His words and imagery are beautiful but what is beneath that is something even more profound. I found healing in these poems -I believe that is part of the intention of the author. I felt him embracing all that he is and the connectedness of all things and by sharing that he encourages us all to do the same in a voice that is both gentle and very powerful.
Fantastic!
Invites you to open up your imagination and let your spirit breath and play. An interpretive spiritual canvas filled with imagery and art to touch the soul.
It's hard to put in to words how special and spot on this little book of wisdom is. It's hard to put into words, because the very sensitivities, insights and connection that Mr. Beier's book eloquently tells us about is in its very nature very difficult to talk about. Mr. Beier cuts through all the chatter of modern life and delivers us back to the essential sweetness of being. I love this book. What a calm and heartwarming text, along with pictures that I think will continue to resonate different meanings over time. This is a book for journeying. This is a book to read to your children, they might understand it better than you! Is this book in print? It should be.
